Police Car Lights Lightbar Crime

HEREFORD TWP., Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a man and woman they say stole more than $9,000 worth of items from work vans in Berks County belonging to a solar energy company.

Troopers responded to the 1000 block of Gravel Pike in Hereford Township Monday for a reported criminal trespass and theft from motor vehicles investigation.

A man and woman illegally entered three work vans sometime between Saturday and Sunday morning, according to a news release from state police.

State police said the man and woman stole approximately 34 rolls/spools of communications wire totaling around $9,206 in value. They also stole three Milwaukee fuel drills and two batteries totaling $611 in value, state police said.

The man and woman also cut six pad locks worth $120 off storage containers, according to state police.
