Dylan Dreyer has been jet-setting non stop the last few months barely having a moment at home.

The Today Show meteorologist has spent the past month in France on a special assignment and on Friday she had headed to Augusta, Georgia for her next featured segment. Joining her co-stars on a video call Dylan, 43, is in the city to provide coverage of a women's amateur golf tournament.

Speaking with Al Roker, Craig Melvin, and Kaylee Hartung, it was revealed that next week Today's third hour will be presented live from PortMiami in South Florida. Sponsored by MSC Cruises the show will see the hosts go for a journey on their newest vessel the MSC World America.

Al confirmed that Dylan still has plenty of work ahead of her as she will join him and Craig on the cruise. He said: "When Dylan gets back she has to unpack and then repack for the next one.

Dylan actually travelled to France last month…where they were putting the finishing touches on the ship."

Dylan travelled to Saint Nazaire to report on the World America MSC Cruise. He then joked about how Dylan's travel for work has led to her family life becoming strained adding: "In fact, Dylan's kids are calling her aunt mommy."

Both Craig and Kaylee burst into laughter at the gag before he added: "We're all going on it together."

Last month Dylan was seen posing outside the Louvre Museum in Paris with her Today colleague Phoebe as she spent time in the French capital.

Dylan captioned the snap: "All work and no play. No, I mean all play and no work. Wait, some play lots of work.

Actually, lots of play and work. Either way, I’m in France for work. Really cool story coming soon!!."

NBC anchor Dylan's husband Brian Fichera has been in charge of their three children, Calvin, Oliver and Rusty, while she has been away.

Dylan's career is full steam ahead as she debuted her latest book A Peek Out Your Window earlier this year.

Speaking to HELLO! Dylan opened up about how her children had been a huge inspiration behind her fourth novel.

She said: "My kids have loved the lift-the-flap books since they were babies. And it's fun for adults to read too. It's got a little rhyme to it and it's a nice short book, which I think goes a long way for parents too!"
